Bridal Shower

I just found out that I am expected to plan a bridal shower. A very small bridal shower, for about 4-6 people and that includes the bride. Now this is a whole new problem for me. Usually it is more about can we trim that guest list down? How do you throw a bridal shower for 5 people and still make it elegant?

To me this is especially tricky because if not done right the lack of people will be especially obvious. On the other hand there is a tremendous opportunity to splurge a bit since there will not be excessive amounts of food and decorations to obtain.

And of course the favors. With such a small crowd I think maybe I should a small gift bag as opposed to just one item. That would be fun.

Two options have come up so far: a tea party or a spa party. Sign me up for the spa any day! But there is always what everyone would enjoy to consider (pesky guests!) If we do a tea party I can take our Tea Pot Timer, our Honey Pot, and our Tea Bag Caddy to make a gift bag. A pretty bag with a nice label on it…If we do the spa party then I could really go crazy. I could take our Hand Lotion, Our Lip Balm, one of our Candles, Bath Caviar (coming soon), our Satin Eye Mask, our ….. have I gotten carried away? My bias is quickly forming…
